Dakota State University

Madison Public Schools

The Madison Central School District’s mission is to educate all students to fully achieve their personal and academic potential as lifelong learners skilled in communication, problem solving and global responsibility. From elementary through high school, students receive personal attention and quality education to help them succeed throughout life.

St. Thomas School

St. Thomas Catholic School provides personal, one-on-one attention to students in pre-school through 5th grade to more fully develop his or her intelligence and creativity. Daily school activities are a planned integration of religious and social values. The curriculum emphasizes mathematics, science, English, social studies, reading and computer science.

Madison Christian School

Madison Christian School is not associated or supported by any one denomination. Madison Christian seeks to unite and support Christian families in the community. Madison Christian was founded in 2001 as a South Dakota non-profit educational and religious organization. The school teaches grades K-8.

AIM High

AIM High is an alternative high school established to give students who are not succeeding in the traditional classroom the opportunity to earn a regular high school diploma. AIM offers small class sizes with individual attention, individualized and self-paced instruction and a fresh start with a clean reputation in a new location.

Gracevale Colony Elementary

Gracevale Colony Elementary specializes in educating students to their fullest potential. Gracevale is located ten miles southwest of Madison on the banks of the Vermillion River. It is divided into two rooms, one with grades K-3 and the other with graded 4-8.
